Linz – 10 Jun 2024
I took the S-Bahn line 1 train partway to the southwest of the city center, got off at a place that looked interesting, and walked around a residential area:

This could be the front of trade school.
ZGONC (site in German) is sort of a Lowes-type place. Text reads “Austria’s Genuine Specialty Store”

I suspect the bars are curved so you can open the window outwards.

They’re really serious about their gardens here.

...and then it turns into an industrial area.
Johannes Kepler Universität
The indsutrial area was boring, so I got back on line 1 and took it to the far northeast section of the city and the university.

This building is at the Science Park.

In front of the student union

This is a bicycle repair station...

...which comes with these tools.

Miscellaneous / Signage
This one takes some explanation. Möglichkeiten means possibilities. Linz is the capital of the state of Upper Austria (Oberösterreich), abbreviated in German to OÖ. So the sign works out to “Upper Austria - the land of possibilities”

We sound different than you think. (Radio OÖ)

For every grill, luckily there’s Felix.

Food
Had a garlic Bosna, then went to Kung Fu Wok|Rice|Noodles for rice with shrimp:

Lots of sauces, including Sriracha and sweet-and-sour.

Had some Linzer torte from the store that originated the pastry.
