Not many pictures today, as I spent most of the afternoon seeing the musical Kinky Boots, which was quite entertaining.
I started the day at City Hall, where some protestors were demanding something or other; didn’t get close enough to find out what. There’s also a rather nice fountain outside City Hall.
Walking uptown, I saw a promotion for Nesquik®:
I don’t purposely seek out this sort of thing; it’s just that in a city the size of New York you’re bound to find something interesting pretty much anywhere you go.
For example, this bit of artwork in a subway station: Carrying On (2003) by Janet Zweig and Edward Del Rosario; ceramic mosaic terrazzo, slate, and stainless steel.

The next two are of the same statue. When you look at it from the right side, you can’t tell at all what it is; from head on it’s clear.
These two large nudes are inside a shopping center at Columbus Circle.
From there, I made my way to Lincoln Center, and passed the New York Institute of Technology, which had a case of 3-D printed models:
The pictures of Lincoln Center aren’t very satisfying; at that time of day the sun was back-lighting everything.
Finally, these abstract sculptures in front of Fordham University, and some random sacred folks at a nearby church:
