Not a lot of pictures today; just did a lot of walking around. I started out near Penn Station and Madison Square Garden, where the large display sign had a tribute to the late Muhammad Ali:

I headed over to Times Square along Broadway. I have a video from Times Square, but my netbook isn’t powerful enough to do the editing, so it will have to wait until I get home.

Something I forgot to write about yeterday—on the way up Central Park East, I passed a guy who was doing free poetry. He had a mechanical typewriter and typed a poem for me. He asked me about what was on my mind, and I said I was missing my cat Marco. Here is the poem he wrote:
purrrrrrrrr is that you my furry alarm of the am? awakened to phantom noises as i curl my descripting body to the side where sunshine cannot shower my eyes the duty of a californian bullies me out of my grey and with a grunt to a foreign restroom a pestering nostalgia of orange cream paws within my cranium as i splash my face with tears
