Ensenada, MX–2014 June 27
First, a few pictures from the ship.
Some views of Ensenada.
Here are some things I saw as I walked to the downtown area. Souvenir shops abound, of course.
Here is some statuary near downtown and at the central plaza.
I went to the Ensenada History Museum; the entry fee was US$2.00, and it was a nice way to spend a few minutes.
Ensenada has a lot of street art and tilework. The first picture says “We bite like the serpent and fly like the eagle to defend what is ours.”
While I was downtown, a procession of vehicles came through blasting their horns. The words on the windshield say “No to corruption.”
Here are a couple of pictures of seals, taken as we were leaving the harbor.
Let me tell you, Ensenada can be really classy. (If you want to buy any sort of phramaceuticals, by the way, Ensenada is the place for you.)
And some signage. For those that are in Spanish, hover the mouse over the picture for a translation.
