Frühjahrsmesse

I went to the Spring Fair today. It was spread across several buildings of themed exhibits/displays (home and garden, sport, small animal display) and an outdoor area of midway rides.

display booths
Display of large multi-colored cheese wheels from the Crazy Cheese Manufacture
cage of guinea pigs
extremely large dark brown rabbit
White bird with yellow face and red spot on cheeks

Sorry about the bad focus. I got no clue what kind of birds these are.

Frog with large googly eyes; made of three car tires painted green.
midway with inflatable tube clown
Midway ride
ride with people tilted upwards
sign on sky rocker ride

This ride is fairly impressive; I don’t think I would have the nerve to go on it.

Ride with people tilted up at 60 degree angle.
Ride with customers at almost 90 degrees totallly upside-down

Signage

This is missing the initial K of „Kein Zutritt“ (no entry) and now reads as “One Entry”.

This logo for a steel company 🇦🇹 shows what happens when you have to make choices where there aren’t any really good options. There’s only a single dot in the umlaut because there’s no room for two. You can’t put them inside the A; there’s not enough width (or height), and the crossbar is already about as low as it can possibly go. You could make the I-Beam effect go from right foreground to left background, but that totally screws up the reading direction. This, by the way, is the first time I’ve ever seen only a single dot used as an umlaut.
