May Day

I went to Mariahilferplatz for a May Day rally. I think it was sponsored by the KPÖ (Communist Party of Austria). Fun fact: the mayor of Graz as of this writing is a member of the KPÖ.

There were lots of banners and signs:

Vor allem Frieden! Geld für ein besseres Leben, nicht für Krieg

Peace above all else! Money for a better life, not for war

Money for housing instead of for cannons. (It rhymes in German)
