Graz–Feb. 2, 2025

Headed out to the end of streetcar line 1 today (Eggenberg). While waiting for the streetcar at Südtiroler Platz, I got a few pictures:

sculpture built into building corner
pink
stone archway
Large round gold piece with crown at top and inset multicolored jewels
back of kunsthaus

Eggenberg

chopped wood piled up next to house
old style house with solar panels

Old and new...solar panels on old architecture...

church

...and a satellite dish.

stone wall
top of church
view of city from top of hill

Climbed up a hill to try to get a picture of a building near the top, but the camera angle just didn’t work. Here’s second best.

old run down building

A real fixer-upper!

I burst into laughter when I saw this. I’ve had my last name mispronounced this way so many times, and now I find out it actually exists.

I passed by the ASKÖ Sports Facilities 🇦🇹 on the way back. AKSÖ is the „Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Sport und Körperkultur in Österreich“ (Working Group for Sport and Physical Culture in Austria). They have some cool art on the side of the building.
