On Sunday, I went downtown again with my friend and one of his friends. Most of these pictures are self-explanatory, and have no captions.

Every Sunday, the streets in the center of the city are closed to traffic. (These pictures have captions)

engineer pushing against building This is a statue of Jorge Matute Remus, an engineer who figured out how to move the Guadalajara phone exchange building a distance of 6 meters while everything was still running. According to my friend, the statue was originally holding a slide rule, but someone stole it.
