Vienna–April 12, 2019

I got some pictures of the University buildings:

Building tiled with varying sizes of rectangular glass and stone panels. Building with walls that are yellow at top to dark orange at bottom Green metal bench with braille notation Yellow-to-orange building with wood slats on exterior Building with irregularly spaced rectangles/windows Long view showing curved exterior of yellow to orange building Metal spherical shell with names of famous people associated with the university. Exterior library showing angular pitch to walls Exterior learning center Long view of various buildings

An artist named Felix Haspel had an exhibition of sculptures; from the web site, it appears it opened on 4 April, so my timing was good. (There’s a menu at the top of Haspel’s web page, but the contrast is so low that it’s hard to see. Trust me—it’s there.) The text under the picture gives the name of the sculpture. The last sculpture can be yours for a mere 45,000 €!

One interesting picture from the conference: when you pick up your badge, you can choose a black lanyard to indicate that it’s OK for people to include you in photographs, or a red lanyard to indicate that it isn’t OK.
