Los Angeles 2011 - 9 August

Arrived in Los Angeles, and went to Hollywood and Vine, where there was supposed to be a tourist information center. I didn’t find it, but I did get these pictures. The Capitol Records building picture was taken from Yucca Street, a block or so north of Hollywood Boulevard. (Click any picture to see it in a larger version.)

I then headed to the Koreatown Plaza;I rode my bicycle down Western Avenue to get there The roadway is just awful; there are lots of potholes and rough surfaces near the curb. Once I got there, I realized I wasn’t in the mood for Korean food, so I headed back to the hotel. As I was unlocking mhy bicycle, I glanced up and saw these buildings, wich looked interesting. I went back via Oxford Avenue, which is not as heavily traveled and was a lot easier to navigate.
