And now, some pictures from the train trip. The quality is low, given that the window was dirty.

This is a low-cost long-distance train system in Germany.

There are graffiti even on the sides of the train cars.

Hotel: Design Award

I stayed overnight at an airport hotel before returning to the US the next morning. Unlike the hotel in Köln, this one was very well designed.

There’s a set of hooks for clothes, etc, and a recessed area with coat hangers.

Reveals a luggage shelf.

The back part of the sink has a fair amount of room for your personal items.

And the desk has plenty of room. There are three fold-down shelves at the left of the desk.
