Today’s text is being written on the 18th, as I am preparing to leave, so I am writing in telegraphese rather than complete sentences.
I went to the International Trade Center near Taipei 101 today. This crosswalk lets you cross diagonally from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Some views near the international trade center, with more of those blocky statues from a few days ago, plus a metal sculpture of some sort of waterbird.
Everybody just raves about it in the guidebooks. It’s nice, but it’s no Guandu, to be sure.
And finally, a couple of pictures from the metro station near the temple.
This was breakfast. The item in the foreground is a kind of omelette with green onions. The bottle in the background is kiwi juice.
For my evening meal, I went to the Ximen night market and had a sausage that was in a ”roll“ made of potato about the consistency of hash browns. Then I had a kiwi-apple-yakult drink, and finally went to a place called Risotto for a pesto chicken risotto bowl. (See someone else’s review of the place.)
