Prague–2013 January 19

I decided to go souvenir-hunting on my last full day in Prague, and ended up doing quite a bit more. First, on the way to the subway station, I saw this building which I had somehow not seen all the previous week.

I decided to see the Ethnographic Museum. On the way there, I saw people sledding, plus an interesting park bench.

And here are some of the exhibits inside. One temporary exhibition happened to be concerned with food, and I had to get a picture of the chocolate cakes that you see in the second photo :)

I found myself at the Karlův most (Charles Bridge) again, crossed over, and got lost in the side streets for about a half hour until I found a tram stop.

The escalators in the subway are very fast and very steep; it was humorous to look at the people going the opposite direction and see them “leaning.”

The first poster says, “About the Mouse and the Bear”; the second poster is just plain artistic.

Here’s a stained glass window in a shopping passage.

And, finally, this large teddy bear at a toy store in the Prague airport.
