Eastern Michigan–October 14-15, 2023

I took a brief visit to Eastern Michigan to visit a former co-worker who had moved out there. There’s plenty of space there for all of the assorted animals.

Art Barns

We went to see the barn art from the 53North Barn Art project.

I got to Michigan in time to see the leaves changing color.

Deer tracks

We stopped briefly at a restaurant where the map told us there was some art, but we couldn’t see it from the road.

We were told that it was on a trail back behind the restaurant; they told us “follow the tree line,” where we found this piece, called “Deity.”

Finally, a stop at Wilson’s Cheese Shoppe.

And a trip to the Octagon Barn, which, unfortunately, was closed until May of next year.
