Craft Contemporary Art Museum
The Craft Contemporary Art Museum is a small museum fairly close to LACMA. Here are a couple of pictures of the outside:
Steam Egg
In front of the building was “Steam Egg,...a public sculpture and fully functional steam room, sound space, olfaction chamber, and ocular sitting space.” Here are a couple of views of the egg and some of the associated artwork:
On the Inside
The second floor had an exhibit of art by incarcerated LGBTQ prisoners. I’m only showing some of the safe-for-work art here. (Here’s an article about the exhibit and the press release.)
The RIDDLE Effect
Sculpture and art by John Riddle and his contemporaries. Here is an article about the exhibit.
Wall Art/Signage
Miscellanea
A person on the Metro had his pet snake (named Medusa) with him.
