Lincoln, Illinois–26 March 2017

I stopped at the library at Lincoln College and saw a mammoth tusk and tooth.

This house looked interesting.

I then went to the Lincoln Heritage Museum, which doesn’t allow photos inside. It’s a fairly good museum in that it emphasizes Lincoln’s earlier life rather than concentrating on the Civil War and Ford’s Theater and “Lincoln-as-demigod” image.

Signage

Most of my pictures here are of signs that attracted my attention.

Freeze/Thaw; Freeze/Thaw; Protect Yo’ Pipes Sign for “no guns” Poster: When life shuts a door...Open it again. It’s a door. That’s how they work. Red Chinese pagoda on left; yard sign with “Jesus.” at right. As far as the east is from the west, *so* far hath he removed our transgressions from us. Psalms 103:12; Isaiah 43:25 KJV.
