As I was heading to the subway this morning, I saw some movement near some garbage bag. There were two kittens, probably no more than a couple of months old, rooting around in the garbage. I took my camera and got a picture of them. As I did this, a small group of people gathered. An old grandma-type woman grabbed the kittens by the scruff of the neck and held them up for me to photograph. Finally, an employee of the fried chicken restaurant grabbed them and put them into a milk crate, so I’m going to presume that he will adopt them out. When I go by tomorrow, I’ll try to ask him how the kittens are doing.
I met the same guy I was with a few days ago, and we went to the Gangnam station and decided to see the World Tae Kwon Do Federation headquarters. (Yes, that really is the URL.)
As luck would have it, a tournament of high school students was going on that day, and we just walked in and watched for a while.
We ate lunch at a place called e-cook Shabu, where you choose ingredients from a buffet-type line and dump them into a large bowl of boiling broth and let it cook. It was pretty good. After lunch, we parted company and I just wasted time going around here and there.
An eclectic collection of subway advertisements, a statue in front of a Chinese restaurant, and a weird sign.
