There's no lack of places to eat in Seoul. Although it is possible to find Western food, it's very expensive -- and why go thousands of miles to have food that you can find just down the street from your home?
So, be sure to sample the local cuisine. In fact, you can often have a good meal without ever entering a restaurant. There are plenty of roadside stands selling meat on skewers, fish, you name it.
There are, of course, 24-hour convenience stores where you can pick up a western-style breakfast. At the left is a sweet red-bean pastry and chocolate milk, for a grand total of 1500 won. |
