Normally, nobody asks me for directions unless I am in a city that I have never been in before. Today, however, on the bus, someone asked me if it went to Jakominiplatz. I told them, “Yes, it does, but not directly. It goes to Rosseggerhaus, then to Elizabethinergasse, then Griesplatz, ÖGK, and finally Jakominiplatz.”

Then another person who overheard this asked, “It doesn’t go to Hauptplatz?” I told them, “No, because they are constructing the connection from Annenstraße to Vorbeckgasse.”

And this all happened in German, so I was very pleased at the outcome.
