Hospital Time (part 2)

They wanted to keep me another day, but I convinced them to let me go home today. My Austrian health insurance hasn’t kicked in yet, so I had to pay the cost myself. The weird part is they charge by the day, and not by individual items. The total came out to about 1900 €, which is about US$2100.

At any rate, I’m feeling much better now, and probably am going to take it easy for the next couple of days. (They also found excess tissue on the left pleat of my uvula, and scheduled me for an MRI in June.)
