A few days ago I ordered a baseball cap from the EU Parliament shop. I got an email about the delivery that had this graphic in it. It shows the size of the box relative to a human. I am not sure if DHL in the United States does something similar, but I thought it was a very clever idea.

Here’s the baseball cap, by the way:

Finally, this cartoon, which I saw online. It took me about 20 seconds to figure it out, but it was definitely worth the time. I think this is one of those things that loses all the humor if you have to explain it, but I’ll give an explanation in the entry for tomorrow.

For what it’s worth, here’s the literal translation. The shark on the left says “A cola with Fanta, please.” The shark on the right says “Just cola for me.“ The caption is “Specific and unspecific” [which loses the entire joke when translated to English]
