Very little new today. Went shopping (yet again) at CityPark.
Here’s that big wall of Haribo products I was telling you about earlier.
And I bought some garlic powder (very expensive compared to what it costs in California, but then again, I don’t use a lot of it, so this small bottle should last me quite a while).
The label on the kimchi jar says it’s vegan and “Taste of Korea“. Vegan, definitely. Taste of Korea, ehhh, not so much. It doesn’t taste anything like the kind we have in California. It doesn’t use gochujang, it has carrots in it, and when you get right down to it, it tastes like spicy sauerkraut. To be fair, that is pretty much the definition of kimchi—just different spices, which makes all the difference.
