Las Vegas–29 Dec 2014

Here are a very few pictures/29_dec from the Strip

One of my first stops was the Cosmopolitan so that I could get some things from the Art-o-mat®. Every time I go there to use the machine, several people will come up and also express interest in it. The hotel also has some artwork; this set of “Do Not Disturb” paintings was new.

From there, I went to New York New York and visited Hershey’s Chocolate World where I saw this chocolate Statue of Liberty. Yum.

Onwards to Stupidiotic, where I saw this clever sign:

Special: Buy 2 of any item and pay for them both!

From there, I walked north in search of lunch, passing the shrine to four-faced Brahma at Caesar’s Palace:

After lunch at Fashion Island Mall, I caught Jeff Civillico’s show at the Linq (formerly the Quad, formerly formerly Imperial Palace). They’ve done a great job with the interior, and there are a lot of trendy shops nearby. This is the second time I’ve seen the show and it was excellent this time as well.

After the show, I returned to the Cosmpolitan; they had a special exhibit about the “Lucky Cat” (note: this link may be temporary until the exhibit is over).

In the “stay classy, Las Vegas” category, this is a sticker that I saw in the parking garage where I parked my bike.
