Taipei–2013 July 13

Well, I thought I wouldn’t have any good photo opportunities on the last day here, but I was wrong.

Here are a few pictures from the Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall area.

On the way back to the hotel to check out, I saw this uprooted tree. When I got to the hotel, I took a picture of the art on their walls. The sculpture was on a street on the way to the bus station.

And here are pictures from the bus on the way to the airport.

I figured that once I got to the airport, there wouldn’t be much to take pictures of. Again, I was wrong. The first two pictures show a sphere whose light colors change gradually.

And some pictures of various stores and waiting areas near the gates in terminal 2.

Signage

The first time I saw this, I thought that it was a very narrow no-smoking zone. (There’s actually a square area marked off by the red lines; the lines themselves aren’t the no-smoking area.)
