SFO – 23 January 2015

(As usual, click any picture to see it in a larger size.)

I checked in very early to the flight; I had three hours to spare, so I walked around outside and saw these “paw prints” that led to an animal relief station.

As I got to the airport, I saw people from one of the San Francisco museums unpacking a new display; by the time I was done with my walk outside, they had most of it set up. The display is called Radiant Light, and it’s a display of art by Louis Tiffany (yes, the lamp guy).

The rest of these are very large wall art in the A concourse of the International Terminal. The pictures that are in pairs show the full-size art and some of the detail.

Today’s Kerning Fail

This one just jumped out at me.

Badly kerned all-caps sign reading “FREEWAYS NEXT LEFT”—the Y and S are too far apart.
