Our flight to Frankfurt connected through Calgary, where we had a three-hour layover, and got this picture:

Both flights were good, and on time. Cathy didn’t get any sleep on the flight from Calgary; I got a couple of hours. We made our way from the airport to the train station by subway, and then asked someone at the station how to get to the hotel.

The hotel is very nice (translation: it has wireless). We’re on the top floor, and the elevator stops one floor beneath that, so we have to go up a flight of stairs to get to our room:

The hotel is near the “high-class district” of Frankfurt:

Here are other shots that we took along the way; hover over them for my comments:

The highlight of the evening was seeing the beer bike as we returned to the station. As Cathy said, “How fun is that?!”
